I'm lactose intolerant and of course I bought a 5lb tub. A few reviewers said that they were okay taking this and I figured since it contains lactase I'd be fine. I took this product and was in so much pain for 2 hours it was unreal, I don't think it was because of lactose but rather some milk proteins that I might be allergic too. The thing is I didn't know I would be allergic to them, if you're lactose intolerant I wouldn't chance it.

It is not worth the pain. I gave this 3 stars because it really is a great protein source and is a great supplement, I just wish I didn't buy it knowing that I can't take it now.

I have tried a few other protein powders - from rice, to grass feed whey, to the brand isopure which I used for a long while. There are lots of other similar comments from other reviewers so I will keep mine short.

Only down side is due to a mix of protien types - a single scoop full has 24 grams of protien which may not be enough for some. I use a scoop and half.
